Benjamin tenOever completed his postdoctoral formation in Molecular Biology from Harvard University after receiving his PhD in Medicine from McGill University. He is now a Fishberg Professor of Microbiology at the Icahn School of Medicine. His work focuses on the mammalian antiviral defenses of the cell, the corresponding viral countermeasures employed during infection, and use of this information in the development of new technologies.
